This project was the first big piece I crafted for our home, and it was a joy to fill it with carvings and woodburnings that carried meaning for our newly-formed family. It is held together entirely with hand-carved joinery (not a single nail or screw), staying firmly fastened and yet coming apart easily when needed.

Marriage has been a beautiful calling for my wife and me. With this new state in life have come many exciting projects that have broadened my skillset and creativity. Sometimes the deep beauty and weightiness of a task call forth the very best of your efforts - as it has with this bed frame and with my marriage.
